Kelly Myers is a divorce mediator, Certified Divorce Coach, and co-parenting specialist who works with separating and divorcing families to make informed, future-focused decisions that support meaningful resolution while protecting the family relationships that continue beyond divorce.
Kelly brings a systems-thinking approach to her work, helping clients understand how legal, financial, parenting, communication, and emotional considerations intersect. She helps clients consider how decisions made during divorce may affect their family, relationships, and future well beyond the divorce process. Her mediation practice is grounded in the belief that families benefit when they are given the information, structure, and support needed to develop agreements that reflect the realities of their lives rather than simply resolve the issues immediately before them.
She has completed extensive mediation and conflict-resolution training through Northwestern University, the Harvard Program on Negotiation, the Mosten Guthrie Academy, and the High Conflict Institute. Her commitment to ongoing professional development has further deepened her expertise in divorce coaching, co-parenting, high-conflict dynamics, and child-centered dispute resolution.
A significant focus of Kelly’s work is helping parents restructure their family while preserving their lifelong parenting partnership. She works with parents to develop comprehensive parenting plans, strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and make decisions informed by their children’s developmental and emotional needs. Her approach recognizes that the end of a marriage is not the end of a family and that the agreements and patterns parents establish during divorce can have a lasting impact on their children and their future relationships.
In addition to her work with families, Kelly is committed to advancing the practice of family mediation and supporting the professionals who serve separating and divorcing families. She has served for several years as Co-Chair of the Statewide California Mediation Association’s Family Mediation Institute and is a co-trainer for the Co-Parenting SpecialistĀ® Training Program. She regularly develops and presents professional education for mediators, divorce coaches, financial professionals, and other members of the divorce professional community.
Across her work with families and professionals, Kelly advocates for a more interdisciplinary, child-centered, and future-focused approach to divorceāone that reduces unnecessary conflict, supports durable agreements, and helps families build a stronger foundation for the next chapter of their lives.
