Michael Cantrell is a California-licensed attorney and labor mediator who received his B.A. in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine, in 2009, and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2013. After working for a plaintiff-side environmental litigation firm, Michael opened his own practice in 2016, serving as general counsel to small businesses and startups across California. In 2022, he expanded his practice to include mediation after completing formal training through the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He mediates labor and employment disputes for private clients across California as well as for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and is president-elect of the Statewide California Mediation Association (SCMA).
