The Southern California Mediation Association is excited to host its 2021 Annual Fall Conference; The Magic of Mediation. As SCMA continues to adapt to the ever changing climate caused by the global pandemic, we created a hybrid of in-person and virtual activities for this year’s conference. SCMA is thrilled to announce we will be bringing back the tradition of having an in-person Friday Evening Awards Dinner on November 12th in Downtown Los Angeles. Pursuant to the new ordinance signed by the Los Angeles City Council, the Awards Dinner is open to vaccinated guests only. The Saturday conference will remain virtual.
Each year the SCMA presents the Cloke-Millen Peacemaker Award to an individual or organization in the dispute resolution community who inspires us through their passion and dedication to peacemaking.
Each year SCMA presents the L. Randolph Lowry Award to a member of the dispute resolution community who has honored and inspired us through their passion and dedication to education in the field of dispute resolution.
It has been a tradition that the SCMA President recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact to the organization and the mediation community during their term in office.
