Christopher M. Welch

Christopher Welch is the Executive Director of the Center for Conflict Resolution, a nonprofit organization providing court-connected and community-based mediation services throughout Los Angeles County. For more than 20 years, he has overseen mediation programs serving Small Claims, Civil Harassment, and Unlawful Detainer cases in partnership with the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Christopher currently serves on the California State Bar’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Certification Working Group, contributing to the development of statewide certification standards for mediators, arbitrators, and ADR providers. He was a board member of the Mediator Certification Consortium of California (MC3), where he worked to promote ethical and professional standards in the mediation field.

He has also collaborated with the County of Los Angeles and the Superior Court to develop online dispute resolution systems and has strengthened partnerships with local universities and volunteer mediators to expand access to mediation services.
