Jeff Kichaven is one of America’s leading mediators. He’s ranked in Chambers, Band 1, on the US-Nationwide list of mediators, and Lexology (f/k/a Who’s Who Legal) has honored him as a Global Elite Thought Leader in the field. He has been a full-time mediator for 30 years. He is a Phi Beta Kappa Graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (AB Economics, 1977) and an Honors Graduate of Harvard Law School (JD Cum Laude 1980). He practiced business litigation in Los Angeles for 15 years before he became a mediator. He is an Elected Member of the American Law Institute and a Member of the Advisory Board of the RAND Institute for Civil Justice. His views on mediation have been cited in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. He was President of the Southern California Mediation Association in 2005, and co-author of its landmark Amicus Brief to the California Supreme Court in Rojas v. Superior Court in 2004.
