Therese White has been a professional mediator and organizational conflict consultant since 1992. Her specialty is in rescuing emotionally charged employment disputes. Nearly all involve claims of race/color, gender, ADA, identity, age, or religious discrimination, as well as the associated claims of harassment, hostile workplace, and wrongful termination.
Therese has trained hundreds of attorneys, corporate, educational, and community leaders, and their staff in the mediation process, valuing workplace diversity & inclusion, and resolving workplace conflicts. She has also facilitated numerous community-based conflict discussions, including the Days of Dialogue for the Institute for Non-Violence in Los Angeles since 1995.
Examples of Therese’s non-profit and public sector assignments include the Los Angeles Community College District, the Los Angeles Police Department/Office of Ombuds, the L.A. Council of Black Professional Engineers, and the Knox Presbyterian Church/Ladera Heights Civic Association’s Community Dialogue Facilitation Program. She also taught “Mediating Claims Under the Americans with Disabilities Act” for the University of California at Riverside/School of Continuing Education.
